Terms of Service (Mainland China Version)

Welcome to "ShrimpSend", related clients, and the Web app (the "Product" or "Service").

This Agreement applies only when you use the Product and connect to Mainland China service nodes, for example api.xiachuan.net / wss://ws.xiachuan.net.

Important notice: This document is prepared based on the Product's current business rules and does not constitute legal advice. This English translation is for reference only. In case of inconsistency, the Chinese version shall prevail.


1. Acceptance and changes

1.1 By clicking to agree, registering, logging in, or otherwise actually using the Service, you indicate that you have read and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1.2 We may revise this Agreement from time to time. After revision, we will notify you within a reasonable scope through in-app prompts, website announcements, or similar methods. If you do not agree to the revised content, please stop using the Service; if you continue to use it, you are deemed to have accepted the revision.


2. Service content and forms

2.1 The Product is a cross-terminal message and file relay tool. Core capabilities include but are not limited to:

  • User registration, login, and security authentication (including email verification codes);
  • Multi-device registration and device name management;
  • Synchronization of text and file messages through realtime channels;
  • Wide-area transfer in scenarios such as "all devices" through S3-compatible object storage configured by you (presigned upload/download, multipart upload, and similar mechanisms);
  • Device-to-device transfer in scenarios such as "specified device" through LAN HTTP, WebRTC (with signaling through the server), and similar methods;
  • LAN device discovery and direct-connection capabilities (such as Bonjour / Smart Link, subject to the actual client);
  • Auxiliary capabilities such as QR code login.

2.2 Some capabilities are available only on specific operating systems or distribution channels. The version you install shall prevail.

2.3 We will use reasonable efforts to maintain service availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the extent permitted by law, we are exempt from or limit liability for interruptions caused by network failures, device compatibility, third-party services, maintenance and upgrades, force majeure, and similar events.


3. Account, password, and security

3.1 You should provide true, accurate, and lawful registration information and properly keep your password and verification codes.

3.2 You are responsible for activities under your account. If you discover unauthorized use, please notify us immediately.

3.3 Where we reasonably suspect security risks or violations of laws and regulations, we may take measures such as requiring verification, restricting functions, suspending, or terminating the Service.


4. User conduct

You agree not to use the Service for the following activities, including but not limited to:

  • Uploading, disseminating, or storing content that violates laws, regulations, policies, or public order and good morals;
  • Infringing others' intellectual property rights, trade secrets, privacy rights, or other lawful rights and interests;
  • Conducting network attacks, crawler abuse, security bypass, malicious bulk account registration, and similar activities;
  • Using the Service to transmit malware, commit fraud, money laundering, or other illegal activities;
  • Other acts that harm our lawful rights and interests, other users, or third parties.

We may, in accordance with laws, regulations, and this Agreement, take measures such as deleting content, restricting transfers, suspending, or terminating accounts, and may report to competent authorities depending on the circumstances.


5. Intellectual property

5.1 Intellectual property rights in the Product's software, interface design, documentation, and similar materials (except content that lawfully belongs to third parties or users) belong to us or the rights holders.

5.2 Without written permission, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to obtain source code, except where the law prohibits such restriction.


6. Membership service and payment (Mainland China)

This section describes only the membership and payment plans under the Mainland China cluster.

6.1 Free tier

  • If you have not purchased paid membership, you may use the free tier, which by default supports binding up to 3 devices (subject to online configuration and account benefits).

6.2 Paid tiers (lifetime one-time purchase)

Prices are subject to the purchase page and order confirmation amount. We reserve the right to adjust list prices or run promotions in accordance with law. Purchased benefits are subject to the order and system records.

6.3 Add-on packages

After you have activated Mini or Pro, you may purchase add-on packages multiple times:

  • Each package adds 5 device slots on top of the existing limit;
  • The default price is RMB 45 per package (subject to the purchase page and order).

The total device limit is calculated as: base tier device count + add-on package count x 5.

6.4 Upgrade and price difference

When upgrading from Mini to Pro, the upgrade fee is calculated by the system according to the price difference rule and is subject to the payment page.

6.5 Payment channels

You may complete payment through the following methods (subject to the entries actually provided by the client and web app):

  • Alipay (including mobile app payment, PC web payment, WAP, and similar scenarios);
  • iOS: purchase corresponding products through Apple App Store in-app purchase (subscription benefit synchronization may be verified through RevenueCat and the server).

6.6 Benefit activation and refunds

  • Benefits generally take effect after successful payment and server verification. If there is a delay, the order status and customer service verification shall prevail.
  • For digital goods and activated membership benefits, unless mandatory laws and regulations or payment channel policies require otherwise, no-reason returns may not apply. Specific rules are subject to Alipay, Apple, and other channels.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

7.1 You understand and agree that object storage configured by you, your network environment, and transferred content are your own compliance and security responsibility.

7.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profits, data loss, and similar damages. Our cumulative liability to you shall not exceed the fees you actually paid for the Service giving rise to the dispute during the twelve months before the dispute occurred (or zero if no fee was paid), unless mandatory law provides otherwise.


8. Service changes, interruption, and termination

8.1 We may change, suspend, or terminate part or all of the Service due to business adjustments, compliance requirements, technical upgrades, and similar reasons, and will make announcements or notifications within a reasonable scope.

8.2 You may stop using the Service at any time and apply to cancel your account through the process if we provide that function. We may also terminate the Service if you materially breach this Agreement.


9. Governing law and dispute resolution

9.1 The formation, validity, interpretation, and dispute resolution of this Agreement are governed by the laws of Mainland China of the People's Republic of China, excluding conflict-of-law rules.

9.2 Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the people's court with jurisdiction at the domicile of Beijing Mingman Information Technology Co., Ltd. for litigation.


10. Miscellaneous

10.1 If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.

10.2 Matters not covered herein shall be subject to published rules, the help center, and laws and regulations.
